Brian Paris is currently enrolled in a 12-step program for
recovering metalheads. As part of the process, he is arranging
the entire ABBA Gold album for fingerstyle 7-string
solo guitar. Brian was coerced by his musician parents into
piano and voice lessons for many years starting at age 6, but found his true calling after observing Ace Frehley staggering around backstage in the late 70’s. Brian is fond of old growth mahogany, brazilian rosewood, tall fretwire, and hoards
vacuum tubes from the Cold War era in hopes of finding
“the ultimate tone.”

With the Storm Kings, Brian pursues a textural style with a
nod to Jamie West-Oram, Andy Summers, and David Torn,
all while attempting solos with profuse amounts of preamp
gain while his fellow band members pretend not to notice.

A veteran of numerous unknown original bands, Brian has
appeared on hundreds of unheard singer/songwriter demos
since relocating to Nashville nearly 20 years ago. He has
also composed soundtracks for corporate and industrial
video streamed to thousands via the internet. In his spare
time, he is developing two albums of sequencer driven
melodic death metal. Those who doubt this assertion are
